Tehran, IRNA – Gisa Bayburdi, an Iranian female archer, won a gold medal at the compound on Thursday in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkey.

Bayburdi defeated Turkey’s representative Yeşim Bostan 146-142 in the final and became champion at compound bow field.

She had also gained a silver medal yesterday along with the other Iranian archer Amir Kazempour at mix compound category.

At men’s compound bow also today, Mohammad-Saleh Palizban lost against a Malaysian archer and gained the silver medal.
