Tehran, IRNA – Representative of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, also called Hamas, in Iran Khaled al-Qaddumi described on Wednesday the recent attacks carried out for three days by the Zionist regime of Israel against the Gaza Strip as "brutal crimes", adding that Hamas will take revenge on the killers of the Palestinian people.

Al-Qaddumi made the remarks at a press conference held at the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) office in Tehran this morning.

In its recent airstrikes, the Zionist regime of Israel has killed at least 49 Palestinians, including 17 teens and children in three days.

In his remarks, al-Qaddumi called on reporters and journalists to use their pens to disclose the Zionist regime's crimes.

The Israeli army admitted that its airstrike at the Al-Faluja Cemetery east of Jabalya located in northern Gaza, has killed five teens and children, IRNA quoted Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” on Tuesday as saying.

The Zionist regime is responsible for any crimes and Palestinians have a legitimate right to respond, the Hamas official stated.

Congratulating the victory gained after the recent battle in Gaza, he said that it led to creating deterrence against the occupiers.

Hamas believes that normalization of relations with the Zionist regime of Israel will extend the life of the regime and threaten the interests of the Palestinian people.

Through their plot to normalize relations with the Zionist regime and support it, the West and the US are to turn Israel into their military and political base in the region, he underlined.
