Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Volleyball B Team defeated Cameroon on Monday during the Fifth Islamic Solidarity Games, winning the championship of the men’s volleyball in the competitions held in the Turkish city of Konya.

The final stage of men’s and women’s volleyball included four matches for Monday.

The Iranian Men’s National Volleyball Team defeated Cameroon 3-1, winning a gold that marks the first team medal gained by the Islamic Republic in the Konya competitions.

The victory marks the fourth championship won by the Iranian Men’s National Volleyball Team in the Islamic Solidarity Games over the past years.
