Tehran, IRNA – Iranian taekwondokas won two gold medals on the second day of the Sofia 2022 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in Bulgaria.

Abolfazl Zandi, 48 kg, was one of the Iranian medalists who grabbed the gold after defeating his rivals from Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan and Thailand.

An Iranian girl- Mobina Nematzadeh, 49 kg- could strongly conquer her South Korean, Egyptian, Australian, Ukrainian and Thai rivals to become another Iranian gold medalists in Sofia.

Overall, Iranian taekwondokas have been awarded three gold and one silver medals till the end of the second day of the world junior competitions.

Sogand Shiri and Parnia Salmani are respectively the other gold and silver medalists.
