Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Men’s team won the 2022 King's Cup Sepaktakraw World Championship in the quad category on Wednesday.

The Iranian Sepaktakraw team finished in first place in Men's regu (3 persons) and Men’s quad (4 persons) in Division A of the international tournament underway in Thailand’s capital Bangkok.

The Iranian team gained its gold medal after defeating Cambodia 2-0 in Men’s quad. But it lost to India 1-2 in Men’s regu and won a silver.

23 countries are competing in the King's Cup Sepaktakraw World Championship that began on July 24 and will wrap up on the 31st of the month.
