Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian and Croatian science-based companies will cooperate in production of medicinal and organic products.

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Croatia said on Thursday that the ground is now paved for economic, tourism, and cultural cooperation between Vector city of Croatia and Iran.

Parviz Esmaili during his visit to Vector city had a meeting with some of the heads of that city's companies and the Mayor of Vector City Ivan Penava.

In the meeting the appropriate potential for cooperation between the two countries’ companies, including in leather, wood, and agricultural industries were surveyed, and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperation, research, production and distribution of medicines, and organic products between the private sectors of the two countries, too, was signed.

Esmaili and Penova, meanwhile, agreed to pursue the MOU on sisterhood of Iran’s Khorramshahr and Croatia’s Vector cities.

The Iranian ambassador to Croatia also elaborated in the results of his day-long visit of Vector city in an interview with the Croatian TV and the local media.
