Tehran, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister's senior advisor in political affairs Ali Asghar Khaji in a meeting with the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg on Tuesday reviewed the latest developments and strategies for cooperation between the warring parties in Yemen, as well as the ceasefire.

Khaji and Grundberg discussed the latest developments in Yemen via video conference on Tuesday.

The two sides examined the latest developments related to the ongoing developments in Yemen, as well as the ceasefire and cooperation strategies between the warring parties in Yemen.

Khaji emphasized the continuation of the constructive role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in achieving just peace through a political solution, especially the full removal of Yemen’s siege.

Grundberg, for his part, expressed his satisfaction with the Islamic Republic of Iran's constructive efforts to resolve the Yemen crisis and called for continued cooperation to establish peace in Yemen.
