Tehran, IRNA – Iranian athletes bagged four silver medals on the second day of the 25th Asian Taekwondo Championships underway in Chuncheon, South Korea.

Mobina Ne’matzadeh and Nastaran Valizadeh lost their final matches to their Chinese and South Korean rivals in women’s 49 kg and 62 kg weight categories and received silver medals. 

At men’s 58 kg and 74 kg categories, Mehdi Haj-Mousaei and Mir-Hashem Hosseini missed the gold medals when they lost their final combats to South Korean and Uzbek rivals.

The 25th Asian Taekwondo Championships kicked off in Hoban Gym in Chuncheon, northeast Korea, as of June 23 for four days with participation of 386 athletes from 32 countries.
