High-level delegations from Iran, Turkmenistan convene in Tehran

Tehran, IRNA – A meeting of top-ranking delegations from Iran and Turkmenistan, co-chaired by the presidents of the two neighboring countries, was held in the Iranian capital on Wednesday.

The meeting was also attended by a number of Iranian and Turkmen ministers, vice-presidents and other political and economic officials.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on expansion of cooperation and bilateral interaction in different political, economic, energy and transit areas.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedow arrived in Tehran last night.
