Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s exports to Africa during last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2022) have increased by 107 percent, a senior trade official announced on Thursday.

Iran's exports to Africa last year amounted to $1,195 million, which shows an increase of 107 percent compared to the previous year, Director-general of the Office for Arabian and African Countries of the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Farzad Piltan said on Thursday.

He added that Ghana with $353 million, South Africa with $254 million, Nigeria with $125 million, Mozambique with $98 million, and Kenya with $77 million were in 1st to the fifth row of Iranian exports among African countries.

Sudan with $73 million, Algeria with $67 million, Tanzania with $55 million, Somalia with $29 million, and Ethiopia with $11 million were in sixth to 10th of Iran's exports among African states, Director-general of TPO's Office for Arabian and African Countries pointed out.
