Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in a message on Tuesday expressed sympathy with the flood victims in South Africa.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in his message to South Africa International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor expressed condolences over the tragic loss of lives and destruction caused by devastating flood.

Iran's Foreign Minister in his message expressed deep regret and sympathy and asked for God's blessings for the victims and patience for the families of the victims and recovery of the injured as soon as possible.

According to official media, at least 443 people have died in floods that have devastated South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal Province.
