Tehran, IRNA – Iranian ambassador to Ukraine said on Sunday that 100 Iranian students left Kiev by rail for the border cities in western Ukraine yesterday (Saturday).

Manouchehr Moradi gave the news on his Twitter account on Sunday, adding that

If the rules of martial law in Ukraine allow, some more Iranian students will hopefully leave Ukraine tomorrow, Moradi tweeted.

Early Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered initiation of military conflict in Ukraine, explaining that the attack is being conducted in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter in line with standing against threats by Ukraine and NATO.

Kremlin recognized independence of two Ukrainian provinces of Luhansk and Donetsk three days prior to the attack into the neighboring country.

The United States and some European countries have discussed plans to impose economic sanctions on Russia.
