Ramezan Biabani and Hadi Nouri who played as Iran’s compound men team defeated Australia 145-143 and won the gold medal, becoming the champion of the competitions.
Elsewhere, Iran’s compound women team, comprised of Maryam Yavarpour and Farzaneh Asgari, drew 148-148 with the British team but won in the golden shot and won the bronze medal.
Iran’s recurve men team, Gholamreza Rahimi and Asghar Zareinejad, defeated Turkey 5-3 in the semifinal game and will face Britain’s team on Sunday finals.
