The event will be hosted by Tajikistan, head of North Khorasan football committee Hossein Jafarzadeh told IRNA.
Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are to participate in the event, he added.
According to its official website: “Central Asian Football Championship organizes a wide-range of competitions every two years to determine the Central Asian football championship, and the inaugural competition was held in 2013.
“The goal of CAFA is to develop and strengthen the game of football by raising its standard in the region to the world’s top level and by playing a leading role in Asia.”
