Tehran, IRNA –An informed source close to the Iranian negotiating team said that the news released by an Arabic-language newspaper about the interim agreement in Vienna is completely false and fabricated.

A source close to the negotiating team told IRNA that the news released by Al-Rai Al-Youm newspaper that a two-year interim agreement had been reached in Vienna is completely false and fabricated.

Al-Rai Al-Youm newspaper claimed that the agreement in Vienna has been completed and the obstacles that existed in the course of the negotiations during the previous rounds have been removed.

While officials at the Vienna talks have not yet released details of the talks, Al-Rai Al-Youm claimed that the parties have reached a two-year interim agreement.

The 8th round of Vienna nuclear negotiations which started on November 29 has now reached a sensitive point.

Iran has announced that if an agreement is reached in Vienna the side that has breached the 2015 agreement must remove all sanctions, and after verification of its acts, Iran’s moves in the framework of the JCPOA will be implemented.

The more serious the other side in lifting the sanctions and accepting Iran's proposals, the shorter the time needed for the final agreement, Iran has emphasized.
