Speaking to IRNA, Alireza Khazaeli said that neighboring countries, the Persian Gulf littoral states, and Europe are Qazvin exports destinations.
He added that since Sa'd al-Saltaneh hanicraft bazaar was registered, Qazvin's exports have experienced significant growth.
Khazaeli noted that over $4m worth of handicrafts were exported last year.
About 6,000 artists and handicrafts makers are active in Qazvin Province.
Mirror work, knitted porcelain, kilim, Jajim, repoussé and chasing, pottery, traditional knitting, embroidery, papier maché, and weaving are examples of Qazvin handicrafts.
