Tehran, IRNA - On the occasion of Hafiz Day, Shiraz Municipality and Iranian Consulate General in Hyderabad plan to organize a cultural exhibition in the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad, India from 13-22, October, 2021.

Referring to the attempts made by Shiraz Municipality to promote Shiraz in other parts of the world, Hashem Mazaherizadeh Head of International Relations Office said “this exhibition is a joint initiative by Shiraz Municipality and Iranian Consulate General to Hyderabad.”
Explaining different sections of this exhibition, he went on to say: The main part of the event is a photo exhibition displaying cultural, touristic and historical attractions such as Shah-e-Cheragh, historical gardens and mosques and Zandiyeh complex.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, live Persian calligraphy and making handicrafts by some Indian Muslims will be performed. In addition, three old versions of Hafiz Divan are to be put on public display.
The opening ceremony will be held on October 12th, featuring speeches by V. Srinivas Goud, minister of Tourism, Culture and Youth for Telangana State and Ainul Hasan, the distinguished professor of Persian Literature and culture as well as former teacher of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
