The "National Archive of Iranian Art" consists of seven kinds of arts from Iran’s history.
Music art consists of traditional music, Maqami, local, religious and modern works, performing arts includes theater, Taziyeh, puppet shows and local, traditional and ritual dances, visual arts including painting, calligraphy, sculpture, drawing, photography, Quranography, traditional arts including Khatam, glass making, enameling, carpet, literature including poetry, stories, plays and screenplays, architecture including ancient Iranian architecture, Islamic architecture and modern Iranian architecture, and finally cinema including art cinema and documentary cinema.
Addressing the event, Head of National Library of Iran Ashraf Borojerdi said Iran has great assets in all fields.
She noted that Iranian artists consider art as manifestation of the God’s glory.
Meanwhile, Head of "National Archive of Iranian Art" Kamal Sarvestani said the national record of countries is their identity, and investing in the collection, aggregation, preservation, classification.
He added that cultural of Shiraz is a familiar name in Iranian, Islamic and world culture and on the other hand is the largest complex of National Library of Iran after Tehran.
This is why establishing the "National Archive of Iranian Art" in Shiraz can strengthen the position of this city, he noted.
