The 24th edition of GIFF ended last night in Mexico, with Iranian film ‘Careless Crime’ directed by Shahram Mokri winning the Special Jury Mention.
“A bold exploration of the connections between fiction and our experience of the world, a passionate tribute to cinema as an expression of our time,” the jury said about the film.
The film is going to be screen also in Brazil’s OLHAR film festival.
‘Careless Crime’ made its international debut in Venice Film Festival, winning the Best Screenplay Award from Venice Critiques Association.
