The world wrestling competitions in Oslo which began on September 25 will end on October 10.
The qualification matches in the second four weights (57, 65, 79 and 92 kg) began at 7 pm Tehran time at Jordal Amfi Hall, in Oslo, Norway on Monday evening.
The world silver holder, Amir-Mohammad Yazdani, who had also attended the 2019 competitions faced the world gold medal holder Zhagir Shakiev from Russia and was defeated in 90 seconds 14-4, to win the games’ silver medal.
Yazdani had in his first match beat his Austrian competitor 10-nil. In the next match he had beat his Porto Rican rival 13-3 to go to the quarter final. In that match he beat the Polish athlete 4-2, where he beat the Kyrgyz freestyle wrestler 5-4 and go to the final match.
