Dozens of weapons discovered, confiscated in western Iran

Kermanshah, IRNA – Commander of Kermanshah Security Police Force announced here on Monday that 56 illegal weapons were discovered and confiscated and 38 people were respectively arrested.

General Hassan Heidari told IRNA on Monday evening that the security police forces in their operation aimed at collecting the illegal weapons and munitions launched a 72-hour task throughout the province.

"During that task 56 weapons, including 34 hunting weapons, 20 Colts, two Kalashnikov machine guns and 250 bullets were discovered and confiscated,” he added.

General Heidari meanwhile announced that the 38 arrested individuals were handed over to the judiciary officials to be put to trial accordingly.
