Tehran, IRNA - Iranian and Indian foreign ministers in a meeting in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.

Hossein Amirabdollahian and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar discussed bilateral relations and regional developments during their meeting in the Tajik capital on Thursday.

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Thursday to take part in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

President Raisi who has been invited by Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon to participate and deliver the speech at the SCO summit, arrived in Dushanbe, and was welcomed by Tajikistan's prime minister at the airport.

The Iranian president will also hold meetings with leaders and heads of delegations on the sidelines of the summit.

Ministers of foreign affairs, energy, labor, cultural heritage, and justice accompany the president during the visit.
