Tehran, IRNA - Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi arrive in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Thursday to take part in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

President Raisi who has been invited by Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon to participate and deliver the speech at the SCO summit, arrived in Dushanbe, and was welcomed by Tajikistan's prime minister at the airport.

The Iranian president will also hold meetings with leaders and heads of delegations on the sidelines of the summit.

Ministers of foreign affairs, energy, labor, cultural heritage, and justice accompany the president during the visit.

President Raisi will have a bilateral meeting with the Tajik President after the summit and high-ranking delegations from Iran and Tajikistan will discuss the expansion of ties.
