Iran, JCPOA under spotlight of seasonal meeting of IAEA’s Governors Board

London, IRNA- The seasonal meeting of the IAEA’s Board of Governors has kicked off with the participation of 35 member states, while the issues of Iran and the JCPOA are under the spotlight.

This is the first in-person meeting of the Governing Board since the coronavirus pandemic has emerged.

IAEA chief arrived in the Iranian capital late on Saturday and was welcomed by Iranian officials.

New Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami and the visiting Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi held talks on Sunday.
