Speaking to reporters, Yahya As’adi, the head of the international center for teaching Persian Language to non-Persian speakers at University of Kordestan, said the university is after taking more steps towards development.
As he noted, Farsi is also being taught in Iraqi Kurdistan region.
This year, 328 students speaking Turkmen, Arabic and Kurdish languages have registered in Farsi classes, the official added.
Despite the pandemic, the process of education has not stopped at the center as it is hold virtually, he underlined.
He went on to say that the language learners have not only learned Persian Language but also heard about rich Iranian culture and civilization at the classes.
Due to its foreign students, University of Kordestan has a say in the international arena.
