Sanandaj, IRNA – Iranian woodturner Mokhtar Ahmadi has made the smallest wooden chess in the world.

Speaking to IRNA, Ahmadi said the chessboard scale is 12 * 12 mm and its diameter is less than one millimeter, and its tallest piece, the king, is 6 mm, and its smallest piece is 2 mm high.

He noted that it took him about 6 months to make the chess.

Ahmadi is after registering its art work in Guinness World Records and keep it in Kurdestan Museum.
