Tehran, IRNA – Presidents of Ireland, Georgia and Mongolia in separate messages congratulated new Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on his presidency.

In his message, Ireland's Michael D. Higgins wished success for the Iranian president and people in fighting COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges, namely establishing peace and security.

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili in her message expressed readiness for developing close and friendly ties with Iran. She wished stable future for Iran and hoped for reinforcing bilateral relations aiming to bring about welfare for people, noting that Tbilisi attaches importance to promoting friendly and close ties with Iran based on mutual respect and cooperation.

In the meantime, Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh assured that a new chapter will be opened in bilateral cooperation.
