Tehran, IRNA - The officials of Venezuela, Kyrgyzstan, and Ghana arrived in Tehran on Wednesday to take part in Ebrahim Raisi's inauguration ceremony as Iran’s new president.

Vice President of Venezuela, the speaker of Kyrgyzstan, and Deputy Foreign Minister of Ghana have arrived in Iran to partake in the ceremony slated for Thursday afternoon.

10 heads of states, 20 parliament speakers, 11 foreign ministers, 10 other ministers as well as heads of commissions and parliamentary delegations are among the officials that have expressed readiness to attend the ceremony in which Ebrahim Raisi is due to take the oath of office as Iranian new president.

The heads and officials from 11 international and regional organizations, who have been invited to the ceremony, have also expressed readiness to attend.

On Friday, June 18, the 13th presidential election was held simultaneous with the sixth round of city and village councils elections, the first mid-term for the 11th parliament’s by-election, and the second mid-term for the fifth Assembly of Experts election.

Out of over 59.3 million eligible voters in the presidential election, nearly 29 million took part in the national event. Ebrahim Raisi won the presidential race with over 18 million votes out of the total 28,933,004 ballots, which shows a 48.8 percent turnout.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Tuesday endorsed the decree of Ebrahim Raisi as the next President of Iran.
