Tehran, IRNA – Iran's Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi on Sunday highlighted Army's "effective interaction" across the country and said it is a model for self-sufficiency in all areas.

Today, Iran's Army is self-sufficient in updating and building equipment for the ground, for the air, and for the sea, General Mousavi said at a local meeting held in Tehran, according to a report of the Army's office of public relations.

In the area of updating and building equipment, the Iranian Army has reached "a favorable level", the commander noted.

Referring to the presence of the completely Iranian-made flotilla in the Atlantic Ocean to carry out mission there under the international laws, the commander said that both the US and the Zionist regime of Israel have been scared of such presence which indicates the Iranian naval forces' self-sufficiency and self-confidence.

Today's meeting was held under the health protocols due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has killed nearly four million people worldwide since its outbreak in December 2019.
