Tehran, IRNA - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that all Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement documents are almost ready but it requires decisions that mainly have to be made by the negotiating sides in Vienna.

Araghchi said that today is the last day of the sixth round of negotiations.

They have been through very intensive days and very difficult works, and now they are in a position where they think all the documents of the agreement are almost ready, he added.

Referring to some resolved and unresolved issues in the disputes, he added that these disputes have taken a precise form and now their dimensions are clear.

Pointing to the time for the other side to decide, he highlighted that the stage of the negotiations and possible agreement is quite clear and the other parties must make their own decisions.

It is now clear in what scopes what is possible and what is not possible, so there is a time when all parties, especially the opposing parties, have to make their final decisions, he further noted.

He added that they will stop the talks and return to the capitals for a few days not just for further consultation but for decision-making. But now, he can not say exactly how many days it will be.

His colleagues had very difficult days and worked on the documents until late at night, he reiterated.

He emphasized that indirect negotiation is not easy and they have to work much more precisely to prevent misunderstandings.

The Iranian top negotiator in Vienna talks went on to say that today they will have a summary of what has been done so far and they will return to Tehran tonight.

Every time they negotiated, they made progress. Some rounds have been more progressive and some rounds have been less, he underscored.

Deputy FM noted that they have made good progress this round and now they are closer to an agreement than ever.

It is time for all parties to make their final decision, he pointed out.

He also expressed hope that the final conclusion will reach the next round, saying, he hopes it will reach in the next round, but it is certainly not possible to predict whether they will be able to do so in the next round.

The sixth round of talks between Iran and 4+1 began in Vienna on Saturday (June 12, 2021). The talks are to focus on the US's possible return to the JCPOA and the lifting of the anti-Iran sanctions.

Talks between Iran and 4+1 started as of April 2 while the US is indirectly attending the talks.
