Tehran, IRNA – Deputy head of Iranian Red Crescent Society for health, treatment and rehabilitation affairs Farid Moradian said RCS hospital will be launched in Zaranj, capital of Nimruz Province.

Moradian said that Zaranj hospital with 32 beds is ready to be launched in southwestern Afghanistan.

He added that the hospital includes operating room, women and children departments, dentistry, dermatology clinics, gynecology ward, midwifery services, sonography, laboratory, nursing services, vaccination, pharmacy, general practitioner, and specialist clinics.  

Iranian Red Crescent Society, Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan, and Afghan Red Crescent Society had earlier signed a contract for launching the hospital.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society has 13 active health centers in South America, Africa, and Asia.
