Participation in election, a responsibility for all Iranian people: Ambassador

Baku, June 17, IRNA – Holding elections in Iran has been exemplary over the past four decades, and participation in the elections which determines the fate of Iran is the responsibility of all people, Iran’s ambassador to Georgia Akbar Qassemi said on Thursday.

Qassemi made the remarks speaking to Tbilisi-based Iranian media on the eve of a presidential election in Iran.

Referring to the significance of the upcoming vote, the ambassador urged the sense of responsibility and a large turnout on Friday elections.

He said that any negligence and indifference would be unforgiveable.
