Khoddadi said that the wide coverage of the June 18 election will take place despite the global spread of COVID-19.
These reporters are from 39 different world countries and the necessary coordination has been made for their media activities in Iran during the election time, the official said.
He said that some 336 foreign reporters which are going to cover the Iranian election are Tehran-based, while Iran has issued press visas for more than 160 other foreign reporters.
Khoddadi noted that Japan, with 25 reporters, will have the most number of reporters in the Iranian election, while France, Qatar, Italy, and the US, with 24, 18, 15, and 12 reporters respectively, are the next countries having the most reports in the Iranian election following Japan.
