Speaking to IRNA, Salabarokh said election is a national duty as taking part in it will guarantee national interests.
He added that since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Jewish community has partaken broadly in all elections.
Describing participation in the June presidential election in Iran as "a national and religious duty", Salabarokh added that all Iranians should have an active presence in elections.
"We don’t care what the enemy says,” the spokesman for the Jewish community in Shiraz said, adding that national interests are important.
At the end, Salabarokh expressed hope that the forthcoming presidential election would be held well with following health protocols as the coronavirus pandemic is not still over.
Iran’s 13th presidential election will be held simultaneously with the sixth round of municipal council elections for the cities and villages, the first mid-term for 11th round of parliamentary by-election, and the second mid-term for the fifth round of Assembly of Experts' election on June 18.
On May 25, Iran’s Ministry of Interior released the names of seven presidential hopefuls who have been qualified by the Guardian Council.
