Speaking in a celebration in the 50th anniversary of Iran-Nakhchivan water cooperation in exploiting water of Aran and Moghan dams, Mammadov expressed interest in developing cooperation with Iran in energy, transportation and trade fields.
The event was held in the presence of Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian.
Iran and Azerbaijan have common border in Aras River and Aras and Khodaafarin dams have so far been constructed on this river.
