Tehran, May 25, IRNA – Two Iranian directors from Iran's Khuzestan Province won three main awards in the MENA Film Festival the Hague 2021 (MENAFF) in Netherlands.

‘Mother, I’m Joseph’ directed by Mohammad Reza Fartousi received the Best Feature Film Award and popular vote best film by 67% of the votes.

Also, ‘Saad’s olive tree’ directed by Ahmad Zayeri won the Best Short Film Award in the short films competition category.

‘Mother, I’m Joseph’ is the first cinematic experience of Fartousi and was brilliant in its latest international debut representing Iranian cinema.

The MENA Film Festival The Hague is aimed at supporting young filmmakers and independent cinema in the Middle East and North Africa.
