NAM urges lifting usurpation of Al–Aqsa mosque neighborhood

New York, May 21, IRNA – The Non-Aligned Movement in a statement on Friday said that the usurpation of Al–Aqsa mosque neighborhood must be lifted immediately.

The Non-Aligned Movement called for an immediate stop to the Zionist regime's aggression against the Palestinian people.

The Movement slammed Israel's aggressive measures against Palestinian civilians, including attacks by Israeli forces on Palestinian worshippers at al-Aqsa Mosque, which has left hundreds of people injured.

It calls for an immediate halt to the military aggression, the statement said.

The Movement calls for immediate support for the Palestinian civilians in accordance with the international law and relevant UN resolutions, it noted.
