Official: Iran ready to cooperate with regional states for collective security

Tehran, May 16, IRNA - Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said on Sunday that the Islamic Republic is ready to cooperate with the regional countries in the mechanism of creating collective security.

The repetitive failures of the US in Afghanistan and the Zionist regime against the Palestine resistance are a sign of the futility of occupation, hegemony, and warmongering, Shamkhani wrote on his Twitter account on Sunday.

He added that Iran is ready to cooperate with regional countries to create collective security as an infrastructure for the development and prosperity of the regional nations.
