Iran grabs 3rd gold medal in Thailand para-weightlifting world cup

Tehran, May 8, IRNA – Iranian weightlifter Hamed Solhipour in the weight category of 97 kg received gold medal in Thailand World Cup.

Solhipour lifted 227kg weight and ranked first.

First, he lifted 224kg weight and in the second stage he lifted 227kg weight.

Iraqi and Malaysian athletes ranked second and third respectively.

The event is underway in the presence of 60 athletes from nine countries in Thailand.
