Yazd, Feb 16, IRNA – City of Yazd in central Iran is to host international handball competitions for the first time after the Islamic Revolution, member of Handball Federation presiding board said.

Speaking to IRNA, Abolfazl Khoshnevis said the contest will be held in the presence of Iraq, Iran and Uzbekistan.

International handball competitions are scheduled for February 23-25 by observing health protocol and social distancing, he added.

He noted that preparatory works have been carried out for holding the event.
