Iran, Azerbaijan urge coop on power plants

Tabriz, Dec 27, IRNA – Iran and Azerbaijan officials on Sunday called for further boosting cooperation in the fields of water and energy.

During the meeting, the two states urged speeding up the construction of Khod Afarin and Qiz Qalehsi dams and power plants on the Aras border river.

Also, both sides agreed to jointly refurbish and renovate historic bridges of Khoda Afarin Dam, which are among cultural heritage.
