Iranian chess player ranks 1st in US online champs

Mashad, Dec 12, IRNA – Iranian chess player Kourosh Yazdani ranked first in U-12 category of US’ online friendly championships, head of Razavi Khorasan chess committee said.

Speaking to IRNA, Reza Pashanejati said the event was held in five 10-minute rounds.

He added that 560 chess players from 56 countries attended the event.

In the final round, 325 players from 40 countries participated.
