Haniyeh denounces assassination of top Iranian scientist

Tehran, Nov 28, IRNA -- Chairman of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh in a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday condemned assassination of the Iranian defense industry scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

He also extended condolences to the Iranian nation and government over his martyrdom.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the head of Research and Innovation Organization of the Iranian Defense Ministry, was assassinated by terrorists in a terror attack near Tehran on Friday afternoon.
