Majlis Speaker condemns assassination of martyr of Iran's defense industry

Tehran, Nov 27, IRNA -- Majlis Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf in a tweet late on Friday denounced assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense.

Citing a verse from Qur'an regarding the bad consequences awaiting the tyrants, he vowed severe revenge for the scientist's assassination.

Fakhrizadeh was assassinated by terrorists in a terror attack near Tehran on Friday.

During the exchange of fires, the security team protecting the scientist were also injured and transferred to hospital.
