Iranian female karateka grabs gold at 2019 Karate-1 Premier League

Tehran, Oct 6, IRNA – Iran’s karate fighter Sara Bahmanyar snatched a gold medal in the weight category of -50 kg at 2019 Karate-1 Premier League in Russia on Sunday.

The Iranian athlete defeated rivals from Hungary, Algeria, Hong Kong, Spain, and China on her way to the final game of the competitions.

She overpowered her German rival in the final match today.

2019 Karate-1 Premier League is underway in Russia and 642 athletes from 85 countries are attending the event.
