“Given separation of the Army’s Air Defense Base from Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base, I appoint you to the commander of the former while you will retain your position as commander of the Army.”
You are expected to use all capabilities and capacities of the armed forces in defending the country’s sky and promote and update the air defense base, he said, wishing success for him in his new post.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces said in the decree of Sabahifard, “Given your valuable experience and on the proposal of the Army commander, I appoint you as the commander of the newly-established Air Defense Base as the fourth force of the Army.”
Development and reinforcing the force, especially in the field of training, and updating equipment, making optimal use of them as well as keeping vigilance and due preparedness using various defense methods in effective cooperation with Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base are expected from you, he said.
