Speaking on the sidelines of the exhibition of historical items, discovered during metro excavations, Hanachi said the items indicated that Tehran is around eight thousand years old.
The mayor said discovered items total 200.
The historical towns have the same nature like Rome in Italy where Italians found items during metro excavation there, the mayor said.
