Tehran, Nov 3, IRNA – The Yemeni drones targeted King Khalid Air Base in Asir district, southern Saudi Arabia, Yemeni TV channel 'Al-Masirah' reported on Saturday.

The drone unit of Yemen used Qasif-1 UAV to attack King Khalid Air Base, Yemeni media reported.

The attack to the air base in which enemies keep their aircraft was successful, a military source said.

The Saudi-coalition spokesman earlier announced that aggressors conducted some attacks on the site of the Yemeni drones and ballistic missiles in Sana'a.

Earlier on Friday, Saudi Arabia forces targeted villages in Saada Province, northern Yemen.

Saudi forces inflicted heavy damage on houses and people’s properties, Yemeni media reported.

Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.

The aggressors have committed horrible war crimes against Yemeni civilians during the past three years.

Earlier, President of the Revolutionary Committee of Yemen Mohammed-Ali al-Houthi had urged forming independent fact-finding committees to look into Saudi crimes against Yemen.
