In February last year, Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari had said that sending five strategic export products of Iran, including Iranian caviar, Kurdestan marble, Gypsum of Semnan, Pistachio of Damghan and Pistachio of Rafsanjan to the World Intellectual Property Organization for global registration. And now the deputy head of the Kurdestan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said that the product has registered globally and opened a new window of hope for the prosperity of marble processing in Kurdestan.
Mehdi Moradi said, 'In addition to introducing the potential of Kurdish decorative stone mines, it could be easier to attract foreign investors to set up and create factories and production units.”
He stated that rock processing has been a priority over the past few years, one of which has been the launch of small workshops of rocky artifacts.
