Tehran, March 22, IRNA – Iranian customs officers managed to confiscate 36 kilograms of narcotics from a truck en route to Belgium from Tehran in Bazargan Customs Office in northwestern province of West Azerbaijan on Thursday.

According to director of Bazargan Customs Office, Ali Masoumi, the consignment of drugs was confiscated thanks to the trained sniffer dogs.

In the meantime, the constoms officers arrested a Guinean woman who was attempting to leave the country illegally via Bazargan border point.

She was hiding in a truckload of dates but was arrested when X-ray images uncovered her plan.
